In the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, a person who fired a shotgun at a snake that entered a house, trapping it in a hole and aiming to kill it, caused injuries to 5 people outside the house from ricocheting pellets. It was learned that one of the injured, taken to hospitals for treatment, is in serious condition.
In Şanlıurfa, 5 people were injured when a person who wanted to shoot a snake he saw in his home with a shotgun opened fire.
HE STUCK THE SNAKE IN THE DRAIN HOLE AND OPENED FIRE, HITTING THOSE OUTSIDE THE HOUSE
The incident occurred in the Üstüntaş neighborhood of the Siverek district. According to the information obtained, H.Ü., who noticed a large snake entering his house, stuck the snake in the drain hole and then fired a shotgun. As a result of the gunfire, ricocheting pellets hit Y.B.K. (4), E.Y. (30), R.Ü. (58), M.S.Y. (3), and F.E.Y. (6), who were outside the house at the time of the incident.
ONE IS IN SERIOUS CONDITION
Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention by the health teams, the injured were taken to Siverek State Hospital for treatment. Among the injured, 3-year-old M.S.Y., who was reported to be in more serious condition, was transferred to a hospital in Şanlıurfa for further examination and treatment.
While gendarmerie teams conducted an investigation at the scene, an inquiry into the incident was initiated.
