Osman Sacit Büyükçaylı, the father of Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant Orhan Burak Büyükçaylı, who was martyred in the overturning of a military vehicle in Ovacık on September 8, has passed away. Büyükçaylı's funeral was held today at noon at the Isparta Central Mufti's Mosque. The funeral prayer, led by Provincial Mufti Muharrem Biçer, was attended by Isparta Governor Abdullah Erin, Garrison Commander Infantry Colonel Merdin Kışkan, Army Aviation School Commander Brigadier General İsa Baydilli, as well as department heads, association presidents, chamber presidents, and many others. Büyükçaylı's remains were buried in the family cemetery in Karaağaç Neighborhood.

Isparta Governor Abdullah Erin stated, "I learned of the passing of our esteemed martyr, Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant Orhan Burak Büyükçaylı's very precious father, Osman Sacit Büyükçaylı, with deep sorrow. I wish him mercy from Allah and offer my condolences to his family and loved ones."
