A 27-year-old woman in Elazığ was severely injured after being stabbed 10 times by her ex-husband in front of their child. The woman, who was taken to the hospital, lost her battle for life 9 days later.

Yusra Binnaz Çimtay (27), who was stabbed in 10 places by her ex-husband in Elazığ, lost her battle for life 9 days after receiving treatment in the hospital.

STABBED MULTIPLE TIMES TO LEAVE HER CHILD

On June 22, Enes Eyüp Koca went to the front of the house where Yusra Binnaz Çimtay, whom he divorced some time ago, was staying in Aksaray Neighborhood to leave their child. A dispute broke out between Koca and his ex-wife there. During the argument, Enes Eyüp Koca stabbed Yusra Binnaz in 10 places with the knife he brought with him. Health and police teams were dispatched to the address upon notification.

LOST THE 9-DAY BATTLE FOR LIFE

Yusra Binnaz Çimtay was taken to Fırat University Hospital for treatment after the initial intervention. Enes Eyüp Koca was taken into custody by the police. After the procedures at the police station, Koca was sent to the courthouse and arrested, and then sent to prison.

Despite the efforts of the doctors, Yusra Binnaz Çimtay, who has been receiving treatment for 9 days, could not be saved. Çimtay's lifeless body was taken to the morgue for autopsy.
