Casey King, known for the program Family by the Ton, drew attention with his major transformation after a 7-year weight loss journey. King, who once reached approximately 381 kilograms, dropped to 111 kilograms after numerous surgeries and years of struggle. The former television star, who lost about 272 kilograms, shared that he never even thought he would survive until the age of 40.
When Casey King appeared on TLC's Family by the Ton, his weight made even daily life extremely difficult. Joining the show in 2018, King weighed around 381 kilograms at that time. In the years that followed, he entered a process that would completely change his life.
FROM 381 KILOS DOWN TO 111 KILOS
King, who has been on his weight loss journey for about 7 years, has dropped from his highest weight of 381 kilograms to 111 kilograms. This means he lost a total of approximately 272 kilograms.
Along with the long-term weight loss process, various surgeries also played a role in King's transformation. King underwent bariatric surgery in 2019 and continued losing weight after the operation.
EVEN TAKING A BATH WAS A MAJOR PROBLEM
King had also described the difficulties he faced during the heaviest period of his life on Family by the Ton. Stating that he couldn't fit into a standard bathtub or shower area due to his weight, King said he had to attend to his personal hygiene in a large water tank outside.
King, who said he struggled with weight problems from a young age, stated that he weighed about 136 kilograms when he finished high school.
After graduation, King worked in restaurants, and his weight continued to increase in the following years. A few years later, he stopped working and moved in with his father, reaching 381 kilograms, his highest weight ever, during this period.
One of the striking details of Casey King's transformation was his past thoughts about his future. King revealed that due to his circumstances, he didn't think he would still be alive by the time he turned 40.
