In Aksaray, a person who warned a cargo company not to park a vehicle in front of his house, then slashed the tires of the company's van and attempted to set it on fire by pouring diesel, was unable to carry out the act as police arrived. In Aksaray, 35-year-old Şaban A. argued with a cargo van driver on Selçuk Boulevard to prevent parking in front of his house. When the van returned and parked in front of his house again, he grabbed a knife and attacked the van.

Şaban A. first slashed the tires with a knife, then poured the diesel he had brought onto the vehicle's tires to set it on fire. Upon seeing the public order teams who arrived at the scene shortly after citizens notified them, the man failed to set the vehicle ablaze. Police launched an investigation into the incident, and after a while, the suspect was caught while observing the scene.
