In the Halfeti district of Şanlıurfa, a person whose house was raided by his creditors was shot dead during a quarrel. The victim, who was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all medical intervention; gendarmerie teams launched a large-scale operation to capture the attackers who fled the scene.

The incident occurred in the evening hours in the Argaç neighborhood of the district. According to allegations, Mehmet Arslan, whose home was raided by creditors whose identities have not yet been determined, began arguing with the suspects. As the argument escalated, the suspects who raided the house opened fire on Arslan with a pistol. Arslan, severely injured by bullets hitting his body, collapsed in a pool of blood, while the suspects fled the scene.

COULD NOT BE SAVED

Arslan's relatives reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention at the scene by health teams, Arslan was taken by ambulance to Halfeti State Hospital, where he could not be saved despite doctors' efforts. Arslan's body was taken to the Şanlıurfa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.
