Hakan Tonga, a forest protection officer and father of three children who lost his life in a traffic accident in Yozgat, was buried with a ceremony held in the Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale. It has emerged that Tonga’s older brother Ali Tonga, a police officer, was also martyred in a traffic accident in Yozgat in 2016.
Forest protection officer Hakan Tonga (42), who lost his life as a result of a traffic accident he had in Yozgat, was buried in the Yahşihan district of his hometown Kırıkkale. In the accident that occurred on October 9 at the Saray village location of the Yozgat-Ankara highway, the car with license plate 55 ZC 513 driven by Z.H. crashed into the median and overturned after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. In the accident, the driver Z.H., A.H., who was in the vehicle, and forest protection officer Hakan Tonga were injured.
Upon notice, police, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Among the injured taken to Yozgat City Hospital after the first intervention by medical teams, 42-year-old Hakan Tonga could not be saved despite all the doctors' efforts and lost his life.

The body of Hakan Tonga, father of 3 children, was brought to the Yahşihan district of his hometown Kırıkkale after autopsy procedures. Kırıkkale Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim, Yahşihan District Governor Abdulkadir Umut Kasman, Provincial Police Chief Mustafa Işık, Nature Conservation and National Parks Director Bahadır Gürleyik, institution employees, Tonga's relatives, and many citizens attended the funeral prayer performed after the noon prayer at Yahşihan Central Mosque. After the prayer, Tonga's funeral was buried with tears in the district cemetery.
