A heartbreaking detail has emerged about the accident in the Nusaybin district of Mardin, in which 6 people, 4 of them children, lost their lives when a car went out of control and fell into a water canal. It was learned that the accident occurred as the 6 deceased were returning home after attending a relative's condolence house in the district center. As the bodies of those who lost their lives were being taken out of the hospital, the cries of their relatives broke hearts.
In the horrific accident that occurred in the Nusaybin district of Mardin, it was learned that 6 people, 4 of them children, who lost their lives were returning from a relative’s condolence visit in the district center.
IT PLUNGED INTO THE WATER CHANNEL BY THE ROADSIDE
The accident occurred in the afternoon at the rural Tepealtı Neighborhood location on the Cizre road of Nusaybin district. The car, whose driver’s name has not yet been learned, ... Upon notification, a large number of health, fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the accident site. In the inspection carried out by the teams reaching the scene, it was determined that Zana Öztürk (5), Mert Öztürk (5), Mehmet Şirin Öztürk (11) and Lavin Öztürk (9), who were trapped in the vehicle, lost their lives.
THE INJURED COULD NOT BE SAVED EITHER
Fikriye Öztürk (30) and Gülcan Öztürk (28), who were injured in the accident, were taken to Nusaybin State Hospital by ambulances after their first interventions. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, the 2 women who were taken for treatment could not be saved.
THEY WERE RETURNING FROM A RELATIVE’S CONDOLENCE VISIT
It was learned that the citizens who lost their lives were returning from a relative’s condolence visit in the district center when the accident occurred.
WAILS ROSE AT THE HOSPITAL
After procedures at Nusaybin State Hospital, the bodies of those who lost their lives were taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute at Mardin Training and Research Hospital for autopsy. During the removal of the bodies, their relatives waiting in front of the hospital wailed. The bodies will be buried after autopsy procedures.
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM MINISTER ÇİFTÇİ
On the other hand, Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi issued a condolence message for those who lost their lives in the traffic accident that occurred in the Nusaybin district of Mardin.
In the condolence message published by Minister Çiftçi on his social media account, he said, “The loss of life of 6 citizens, 4 of them children, in the traffic accident that occurred in the Nusaybin district of Mardin has deeply saddened us. I wish mercy from Almighty Allah upon our citizens who lost their lives, and patience and condolences to their grieving families and relatives. Every life we lose in traffic is the common pain of all of us. In order to prevent fire from falling on other homes, we must all together show maximum sensitivity in traffic safety. May our Lord make our roads a means of reunions, not separations, and of joys, not sorrows.”
