Heavy rain in Adana turned roads into lakes.

Due to the heavy downpour that was effective at night in Adana, the roads turned into lakes and vehicles struggled to move. The tents and sheep in the sacrificial animal market were also affected by the water.

The torrential rain that was effective in Adana during the night hours negatively affected daily life. Due to the rainfall, roads turned into lakes, and vehicles had difficulty moving. The downpour intensified at night in the city warned by the Turkish State Meteorological Service. After the heavy rain, puddles formed in the area where the sacrificial animal market is located on Kıyıboyu Street in the central Seyhan district. Due to rising water levels at some points, drivers experienced difficult moments in traffic.

 While some tents set up in the sacrificial animal market were seen affected by the rain, moments when sheep were left in the water were captured on mobile phone cameras. Additionally, due to the mud and puddles formed in the area after the rain, citizens also had difficulty walking.
