In Aksaray, a person raided his ex-girlfriend's house. The panicked woman jumped from the balcony of the 2nd floor to the balcony of the lower floor. While the injured woman on the balcony and the child trapped in the locked house were rescued by fire crews, the perpetrator was taken into custody by police teams.

A person named Burak T., who lived in a 3-story building in the Hamidiye neighborhood of Aksaray's central district, went to the home of a woman named Hilal Ö., his ex-girlfriend who had broken up with him, and knocked on the apartment door.

LEFT HER LITTLE DAUGHTER AT HOME AND JUMPED TO THE LOWER FLOOR BALCONY

When the woman did not open the door, the man went into a rage and tried to break the door. While he was attempting to break down the door with kicks and punches, the woman, fearing he would harm her, in desperation left her little daughter at home and jumped from the balcony of the 2nd floor to the balcony of the apartment on the 1st floor.

TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

While the injured woman was stranded on the balcony she jumped to, and the little girl was stranded on the upper floor balcony, neighbors who heard the sounds of the quarrel reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Public order teams arriving at the scene quickly captured the man in the building and took him into custody.

BOTH UNDER PROTECTION

The mother and little daughter stranded on the balconies were rescued by fire brigade teams called to the scene using a ladder. The injured woman was taken to the ambulance waiting at the scene and transported to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital Emergency Service, while the little daughter was taken under protection by police teams. An investigation into the incident was initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
