Here are the possible civil servant salaries for 2025 based on the inflation that occurred over the past 6 months.

24.12.2024 10:00

As the last days of the year are being experienced, attention has turned to inflation figures for the salary increase for civil servants and retirees in 2025. Based on the inflation that occurred in the first six months of 2024, civil servant salaries have been recalculated for the new year.

As we enter the year 2025, civil servant and pensioner salaries in Turkey will be updated with inflation differences. Thanks to the 6-month inflation difference, salary increases are expected for professions such as teachers, police officers, nurses, and engineers. In this context, it is predicted that the lowest civil servant salary will exceed 34,000 TL.

SALARY INCREASES EXPECTED IN JANUARY 2025

The civil servant salary increase rates will be clarified with the announcement of the inflation rate for December. The data for December, which TÜİK will announce on January 3, will determine the 6-month inflation difference. According to Central Bank estimates, civil servant salary increases are expected to rise to 12.31% with a 6-month inflation difference of 16.54%.

THE LOWEST SALARIES WILL EXCEED 34,000 TL

With the new regulations, the lowest civil servant salary will exceed 34,000 TL, while civil servant pension salaries will approach 20,000 TL. However, it is noted that retired civil servant salaries are 4-5 points lower than those of SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees.
