In Turkey, residential sales in September increased by 37.3% compared to the previous year, reaching 140,919. Istanbul became the city with the highest share, with 21,314 sales.

The number of housing sales across Turkey increased by 37.3% in September compared to the same month last year, reaching 140,919. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the housing sales statistics for September. Accordingly, the number of housing sales across Turkey rose to 140,919 in September, marking a 37.3% increase compared to the same month last year.

5.2% INCREASE IN THE FIRST 9 MONTHS

In the January-September period, sales increased by 5.2% compared to the same period last year, reaching 947,236. Istanbul had the highest share in housing sales in September with 21,314. It was followed by Ankara with 13,205 and Izmir with 7,612. The provinces with the least housing sales were Hakkari with 74, Ardahan with 82, and Bayburt with 106.
