A so-called influencer Fatma Soydaş, who was under investigation for "publicly insulting religious values" due to her posts on social media platforms targeting religious values, was taken into custody. In her statement to the prosecutor's office, Soydaş said, "I did not share any obscene content in my subscription content either. Everyone thinks I made those posts. Everyone thinks so because of the AI-generated photos made using my likeness."

In her statement to the prosecutor's office, Soydaş defended herself by claiming that the controversial images were generated by artificial intelligence.
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE REQUESTED ARREST
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the questioning of Fatma Soydaş, who was detained due to her social media posts, had been completed and that she was referred to the duty criminal judgeship with a request for arrest.

In her statement to the prosecutor's office, Soydaş, who rejected the accusations and claimed the posts were products of artificial intelligence, used the following expressions in her defense: "I did not make any obscene content posts in my subscription content either. Everyone thinks I made those posts. Because of the artificial intelligence photos made in my name, everyone thinks so. Even in an AI-generated photo, a four-toed foot image was shared. The dress seen there is not even my dress. This is a smear campaign against me and posts aimed at misleading people."
"IT WAS NOT BEER, MISUNDERSTOOD DUE TO THE FOAM"
Regarding another controversial post, Soydaş also made an explanation, defending herself by saying, "In the post you asked me about, there is no indication that the drink in the photo in my hand is beer. I think it was perceived as beer only because of the foam. When I saw that this post was perceived that way, I realized it was not in line with my beliefs and views and I removed the post."
The decision regarding Soydaş, who was referred to the duty criminal judgeship, is expected to be announced.
