In the Çumra district of Konya, in an accident where Tahir Ferliarslan lost control of his car and crashed into a pole by the roadside, his mother and aunt lost their lives. It was revealed that Ferliarslan had a blood alcohol level of 3.04 promille in the test conducted, and he had faced legal action for driving under the influence nine times, with his driver's license being revoked until the year 2036.
Near the Abditolu Neighborhood in the Çumra district of Konya, a car driven by Tahir Ferliarslan lost control and crashed into a pole by the roadside.
HIS MOTHER AND AUNT LOST THEIR LIVES
Upon receiving the notification, gendarmerie, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the accident site. The medical teams determined that the 78-year-old mother of the driver, Melehat Ferliarslan, had lost her life. Injured Tahir Ferliarslan and his 73-year-old aunt Kamile Öztat were taken to the hospital by ambulances. Despite all the interventions by doctors, the injured Kamile Ferliarslan could not be saved.

It was revealed that the driver Tahir Ferliarslan, who was found to have a blood alcohol level of 3.04 promille in the alcohol test, had previously been subjected to actions for driving under the influence 9 times, and his license was revoked until November 22, 2036.
16 MORE YEARS WITHOUT A LICENSE
Following the last accident he was involved in, an action was taken by the Gendarmerie Traffic Team to revoke his license for 5 years, until November 22, 2041.
HE WAS ARRESTED
After being discharged from treatment, Tahir Ferliarslan was taken into custody. Following his procedures at the gendarmerie, he was arrested by the court to which he was referred.
