In Şanlıurfa, physically disabled Mehmet Eski (44) opened fire with a shotgun on those attending a circumcision celebration in the street, claiming he could not find a parking space for his vehicle in front of his house. In the attack, İklimya Subay (16) lost her life, while 6 people, including 4 children, were injured.

The incident occurred in the Seyrantepe neighborhood in the evening hours. According to allegations, when physically disabled Mehmet Eski returned home, he could not find a parking space for his vehicle due to the circumcision celebration taking place in the street. As a result, Eski argued with the wedding hosts, and as the situation escalated, he took the shotgun from his vehicle and opened fire on the crowd in rapid succession. In the panic and fear that ensued, 7 people, including women and children, were injured.

After the attack, which turned the area into a war zone, Eski fled the scene. Upon notification, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to hospitals in the city by ambulances after initial intervention. İklimya Subay (16), who was severely injured, could not be saved despite the doctors' efforts. The treatment of 6 people, including 4 children, whose names have not yet been learned, continues in the hospital.
