Horror in Amasya: Father-in-law kills son-in-law, injures daughter.

In Amasya, a father-in-law encountered his son-in-law at a gas station and shot him with a hunting rifle, also injuring his daughter in the arm. The suspect who fled the scene was captured by gendarmerie teams.

ENCOUNTERED HIS SON-IN-LAW AND DAUGHTER AT THE GAS STATION

The incident took place at a gas station in Yıldız Köyü, a village connected to Amasya center, at 09:50. According to the information obtained, İnci Eser (35), the daughter of the Şengül family, allegedly eloped with Halil Eser a month ago without her family's consent. Father Dursun Şengül (54) encountered his daughter İnci Eser and son-in-law Halil Eser at the gas station.

KILLED HIS SON-IN-LAW WITH A HUNTING RIFLE

In the argument that broke out between them, Dursun Şengül fired two shots with a hunting rifle at his son-in-law Halil Eser and daughter İnci Eser, who were inside the car. Halil Eser died at the scene, while İnci Eser was injured in the arm.

Police, medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The relatives of the deceased experienced a nervous breakdown upon their arrival at the scene. After the crime scene investigation, Halil Eser's body was taken to Amasya University Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Education and Research Hospital morgue.

QUICKLY CAPTURED

Dursun Şengül, who drove away from the scene in his car, was apprehended by gendarmerie teams with the weapon used in the crime. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
