ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON YEMENOn the previous evening, Israel had carried out airstrikes on the capital Sana, controlled by the Houthis, and the city of Hudaydah on the Red Sea coast. Initial reports indicated that 6 people had lost their lives and 40 others were injured in the attacks. In a statement from the Israeli army, it was noted that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, and Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi had approved a plan for attacks against Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen.
