The January 2025 civil servant salary increase will be finalized with inflation figures and collective bargaining increases. With the announcement of the 6-month data by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) in the coming days, the salaries that will be valid for civil servants and retired civil servants for the next 6 months will be determined.



NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER DATA IS AWAITED



According to the decision of the Public Servants Arbitration Board; civil servants and retired civil servants will receive a 6% collective bargaining increase in January, along with the portion of inflation exceeding 10% that occurred in the second half of 2024. With the inflation data announced so far, the increase rate has been shaped at 7.99%, but the final figure is awaited based on the November and December data.



WHAT DO THE INFLATION DATA SAY?



The inflation rate announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute for July-October was 12.06%. According to this data, the inflation difference for civil servants in January was determined to be 1.87%. According to the year-end inflation forecasts of the Central Bank and financial institutions, it is predicted that the salary increase rate for civil servants in January could rise to 12.18%.



According to the forecasts made for civil servants and retired civil servants;





  • The lowest civil servant salary may increase from 39,205 TL to 43,941 TL.


  • The lowest retired civil servant salary will rise from 17,588 TL to 19,712 TL.

RETIREMENT SALARIES OF CIVIL SERVANTS



The salaries of retired civil servants will also increase with the January raise. The prominent predictions are as follows;





  • General Manager (1/1): 56,597 TL → 63,434 TL


  • Department Manager (1/4): 26,372 TL → 29,558 TL


  • General Practitioner (1/4): 46,131 TL → 51,704 TL


  • Technician (High School Graduate, 1/4): 18,933 TL → 21,220 TL
