HÜDA-PAR Deputy Chairman Serkan Ramanlı answered questions from Melis Yaşar and Olgun Kızıltepe during a live broadcast on Haberler.com.
Making statements about the agenda, Ramanlı said, "The economy is a problem for all of us. We are in contact with the public. They are struggling with economic hardship. The knife has reached the bone. The solution lies with the government and the Parliament. Some political parties are talking about early elections, but we have just come out of an election. As a nation tired of elections, should we continue to burden ourselves with constant elections, or should we decide whether to work for the benefit of the people?"
"WE EXPECT THE PRESIDENT AND HIS CABINET TO TAKE ACTIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE"
Ramanlı's statements continued as follows: "Honestly, we expect the government that won in 2023, the President and his cabinet, who are at the helm of the Presidential Government System, to take actions for the benefit of the people. We expect them to overcome this bottleneck and take steps that will further advance the peace, prosperity, and tranquility of the nation. Of course, there are responsibilities that fall to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) in this regard. We are ready to put our hands under the stone for anything that will be in favor of our nation."
"THE NEW CONSTITUTION MUST PROMISE THESE"
"If the new constitution can promise a hopeful future for the youth of this nation, if it can grant the women of this country a peaceful social life and family life, if it can provide a working life, and if the new constitution will strengthen the will of the Kurds to be first-class citizens of this country, and if it will guarantee that the religious people will not be oppressed again as in the past, then of course we are ready to put our hands under the stone."
"MANY SECTORS ARE STRUGGLING WITH ECONOMIC HARDSHIP"
Currently, the economy is at the forefront of urgent issues. Many sectors, from farmers to retirees, from unemployed university graduates to our women, are struggling with economic hardship. We must find a solution to how we can collect taxes from the wealthy without clinging to the poor."
