Striking details of the money transfers of Hür Ağbaba, the brother of New Party Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, who was arrested in the second wave operation against the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, were included in the MASAK report. It was determined that Hür Ağbaba sent 6 million 328 thousand 700 TL to Veli Ağbaba.
Under the coordination of the Izmir Republic Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Izmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted an operation targeting Egeşehir Construction Planning Consultancy and Technology Inc., an affiliate of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Within the scope of the investigation into the crimes of 'establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime,' 'being a member of an organization,' and 'tampering with tenders,' an operation was carried out on the morning of May 20. In the operation conducted by the gendarmerie, Egeşehir Construction General Manager Süleyman Ekinci, a construction company official Salih Eren, and another construction company official Muzaffer Özpolat were detained. Hüseyin Sezer, the then General Manager of İZBETON, was apprehended a day later. After the procedures, the 4 suspects were referred to the courthouse and arrested by the court they were brought before.
VELİ AĞBABA'S BROTHER ARRESTED
While the investigation by the Izmir Republic Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continued, a second wave operation was carried out yesterday morning. In the operation, Hür Ağbaba, the brother of New Party Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, and Ferat Yetişsin, whose connections with Egeşehir Construction General Manager Süleyman Ekinci were identified, were detained on charges of 'tampering with tenders.' After their procedures at the gendarmerie, the 2 suspects were referred to the courthouse and arrested by the court they were brought before.
6 MILLION LIRA MONEY TRANSFER TO VELİ AĞBABA
Hür Ağbaba's multi-million lira money flow was reflected in MASAK reports. Accordingly, it was included in the MASAK reports that Hür Ağbaba sent a total of 6 million 328 thousand 700 TL to his brother, New Party Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, in two installments. Additionally, it was determined that he sent 447,500 TL to Veli Ağbaba's son, Efe Ağbaba.

- Sent 200 thousand TL to Emre Doğan, a detained Çankaya Municipality Council Member and Second Deputy Chairperson of the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council.
- Sent 2 million 989 thousand 948 TL to detained Ahmet Can Ağbaba and received 1 million 745 thousand 400 TL.
- Sent 395 thousand 000 TL to Veli Ağbaba's detained driver Gaffar Çiçek and received 37 thousand 500 TL.
- Received 500 thousand TL from Veli Ağbaba's niece, former Izmir Municipality Private Secretary Nermin Özgül.
- Sent 20 thousand TL to former Malatya Deputy Mayor and Afşin Mayor Mehmet Fatih Güven and received 95 thousand TL.
