In a police raid on massage parlors in Istanbul, 85 women were rescued.

In a raid on massage parlors involved in prostitution in Istanbul, 38 suspects were detained. During the raids, 85 women, 33 of whom were foreign nationals, were rescued from being forced into prostitution. In the operation, 32 individuals found inside as customers were taken to police stations for questioning, while a notebook containing the names of the women and their session fees, as well as a large amount of cash, was also seized.

A raid was conducted on massage parlors in Istanbul where prostitution was being facilitated. An investigation was launched by the Istanbul Police Department following a tip-off that 'local and foreign women were being forced into prostitution for money in massage parlors.' The teams from the Moral Bureau identified the members of the organized prostitution ring after conducting technical and physical surveillance.

SIMULTANEOUS RAID ON 60 ADDRESSES

Simultaneous raids were carried out by the teams from the Moral Bureau on 60 different addresses in Istanbul. A total of 38 suspects, including 18 women identified as members of the prostitution ring, were detained. A total of 85 women, 33 of whom were identified as foreign nationals and were found to be forced into prostitution at their workplaces, were placed under police protection. During the police raids, 32 individuals found in the massage parlors as customers were taken to police stations for their statements.

33 FOREIGN NATIONAL WOMEN TO BE DEPORTED

During the searches conducted at the workplaces and homes where the police raided, 56 mobile phones, 60 SIM cards, 18 boxes of condoms, 122,600 lira, 100 dollars, 300 euros, 13 gold bracelets, a gold prayer bead, a gold ring, a notebook containing women's names and the session fees written next to them, camera recording devices, and a blank-firing gun with ammunition were seized. The 38 suspects processed at the Moral Bureau were referred to the courthouse. While 24 of the suspects were arrested and sent to prison, 14 suspects were released under judicial control. The 33 foreign women rescued from prostitution were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation.
