In a traffic accident in Ankara, Betül Önderoğlu, a member of the AK Party Youth Branch, lost her life.

The accident occurred yesterday around 10:30 PM on Dikmen Street in the Çankaya district. The car with the license plate 06 ENA 742, which was under the control of Barış Önderoğlu, crashed into a tree. In the accident, half of the Tofaş brand car, which was split in two, collided with another car with the license plate 06 BEH 713 coming from the opposite lane, whose driver's name is unknown, while the other half got stuck in the tree. Upon notification from the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

DIED IN HOSPITAL

In the accident, the driver Önderoğlu, his sister, AK Party Ankara Provincial Youth Branch Board Member Betül Önderoğlu, and his friend Ayşenur Gök were injured. It was reported that Betül Önderoğlu, one of the injured, lost her life in the hospital to which she was taken. It was learned that the treatment of the other injured individuals is ongoing.

PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN'S CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

President Erdoğan shared a condolence message on his social media account for Betül Önderoğlu, a member of the Ankara Provincial Youth Branch Board, who lost her life in the traffic accident. In President Erdoğan's post, he stated, "I was saddened to learn that our valuable daughter Betül Önderoğlu, a member of the AK Party's Ankara Provincial Youth Branch Board, passed away in a traffic accident. I pray for God's mercy upon Betül; I wish patience and condolences to her family, our AK Party organization, her friends, and her loved ones."
