In the incident, which escalated into a fight, Yılmaz A., a former village headman, pulled out his gun and fired a magazine of bullets at his son-in-law. While Uğur Deniz collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, neighbors who heard the gunshots reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
