Hülya, 15, who lived in the rural Harabe Neighborhood of Diyarbakır's Çınar district, was found dead at her home with a gunshot wound to the stomach from a pistol. Some family members were taken into custody regarding the young girl's death but were later released, while a large-scale investigation launched by the gendarmerie continues.
In the Çınar district of Diyarbakır, 15-year-old Hülya Asar was found dead at home, shot with a pistol.
FOUND COVERED IN BLOOD AT HOME
The incident occurred on May 15 in a house in the rural Harabe neighborhood of the district. In the morning, relatives who found Hülya Asar lying in a pool of blood reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area upon the report. During the inspection, it was determined that Asar had been shot in the abdomen with a pistol and had died. Asar's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
FAMILY MEMBERS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The pistol was confiscated, while some family members were released after giving their statements. Asar's body was handed over to her relatives after the autopsy procedures and buried. The investigation into the incident continues.
