In a traffic accident in the Çınar district of Diyarbakır, a passenger minibus rear-ended a tractor loaded with melons, killing 2 people and injuring 6. The accident occurred in the morning hours on the Diyarbakır-Çınar highway, near the rural Beşpınar neighborhood. A passenger minibus with license plate 47 AAP 392, driven by İ.U., rear-ended a tractor with license plate 21 EB 189, driven by N.B., which was loaded with melons and traveling in the same direction. The minibus overturned due to the impact. Upon notification, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE ACCIDENT
In the accident, 2 people in the minibus lost their lives, and 6 people were injured. After the intervention of the teams, the injured were taken to hospitals in the city for treatment. The bodies of those who lost their lives were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.
While efforts were made to clean up the melons scattered on the road due to the accident, the investigation launched into the accident continues.
