The Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, who was arrested as part of a terrorism investigation, was replaced by Istanbul Deputy Governor Can Aksoy, who was appointed as the trustee. The Mayor of Esenyurt, Ahmet Özer, was taken into custody at his home early yesterday morning as part of a terrorism investigation and was sent to prison after being arrested by the court in the evening.

APPOINTED AS TRUSTEE

Can Aksoy, who was appointed from the Beyoğlu District Governorship to the position of Deputy Governor of Istanbul, was appointed as the trustee in place of Özer.
