The young man, who was injured in the leg, was taken to the hospital by ambulance while the police pursued the attacker. According to the information obtained, around 00:50 at night in the Altınkum Beach of Güzelyalı Neighborhood, 27-year-old Muhammet E. İ. had an argument with a group of three people who were allegedly intoxicated while walking by the seaside with his friends.
"I DON'T HAVE A CIGARETTE" RESPONSE LED TO A STABBING ATTACK
According to the allegations, one of the group asked Muhammet E. İ. for a cigarette. After receiving the response "I don't have a cigarette," the attacker suddenly pulled out a knife from his pocket and attacked the young man. The knife strikes swung by the attacker hit Muhammet E. İ.'s right leg. Citizens nearby helped Muhammet E. İ., who collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. With the arrival of the 112 Emergency Service teams following the notification, the injured young man was taken to Mudanya State Hospital after the first intervention. It was learned that Muhammet E. İ. had received two knife wounds and a total of 14 stitches. It was reported that the injured person's life was not in danger.

After the incident, the knife-wielding attackers quickly fled the area, while the Mudanya District Police Department teams launched a large-scale search operation to capture the fleeing individuals. Police teams began to examine the security cameras along the coastline one by one. This incident, which occurred at the Altınkum Beach known for its tranquility, caused great fear and anxiety among the local residents. Citizens demanded an increase in night patrols.
