It was reported that 7 soldiers lost their lives due to the explosion of a handmade explosive device planted on the road by the terrorist organization Boko Haram in northeastern Nigeria.

The media information officer for the "Hadin Kai Operation" conducted against terrorists in the country, Sani Uba, stated in his announcement that the troops were attacked by Boko Haram in the Monguno area of Borno state.

7 SOLDIERS LOST THEIR LIVES

Uba, conveying that the troops responded immediately to the attack, noted that after the intense clash that ensued, the attackers were repelled and control was maintained in the area. Uba shared the information that after the clash, as the vehicle carrying the soldiers was passing, a handmade explosive trap planted on the road detonated, resulting in the loss of 7 soldiers, including Colonel I.A. Mohammed.
