In Istanbul, 5 suspects were detained in operations against 2 criminal organizations determined to be involved in shootings and arson.
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Branch, with the support of the Intelligence Branch, initiated an operation against criminal organizations.
5 PEOPLE DETAINED
The teams determined that 5 incidents of gunfire and arson that occurred in Bayrampaşa, Pendik, Küçükçekmece, and Esenyurt between August 18-24 were linked to 2 criminal organizations. In operations carried out on different dates for the capture of the suspects, 5 suspects were detained.
At the addresses, a long-barreled rifle, an automatic pistol, and 120 rounds of ammunition were seized. It was learned that the suspects' procedures at the police station are ongoing.
