A 20-year-old young man lost his life at a bull running festival in Spain. This is the second death case in the region in the past few weeks. The incident occurred at a festival in Guadalajara. The young man was injured in the bull arena and died at the hospital. The municipality declared three days of mourning. Last month, a 51-year-old man died at a similar event. Animal rights activists are calling for the banning of such events and the offering of safer alternatives.

A 20-year-old young man was gored to death by a bull during a traditional bull run festival in Spain. This incident was the second death case that occurred in the El Casar region in recent weeks.

The incident took place on Saturday in the city of Guadalajara, located in the Castilla-La Mancha region in central Spain. The young man was gored and injured in the lungs during the bull run event in the bullring. He was initially taken to Guadalajara University Hospital and later transferred to La Paz University Hospital in Madrid. However, despite all interventions, he passed away on Monday.

The Mayor of El Casar, José Luis González Lamola, described the incident as a "unfortunate accident" and declared an official mourning period of three days. Flags in municipal buildings were lowered to half-mast and all official events were canceled.

This death case reminded of another tragedy that occurred in the region a short while ago. Last month, a 51-year-old man lost his life after falling while trying to escape from bulls during a similar event held in the nearby town of Mesones.

Following these incidents, animal rights activists called for the ban of traditional events like bull runs. The El Casar Animal Defense Association emphasized that such events are not only dangerous for both humans and animals but also have negative effects on society.

A spokesperson for the association said, "These incidents not only result in loss of life but also lead to expenses and consequences that affect all citizens. There should be better ways to utilize our resources and free time."

Animal rights activists argue that there is a need for alternative events that ensure the physical and moral integrity of society, as well as being safer and more educational. They call for the promotion of more humane forms of entertainment that reflect the values of modern society and prevent the recurrence of such tragedies.
