In Istanbul’s Sultangazi district, a suspect who waited in front of a pastry shop and unsettled the employees was caught.
THEY LOCKED THE DOOR AND WAITED WITH A STICK
The incident occurred at around 06:00 at a pastry shop located on Eski Edirne Asfaltı Street in Sultançiftliği Neighborhood. According to the claim, a person who came in front of the workplace unsettled the employees with the strange behavior he displayed. Thereupon, worried that the person would enter, the employees locked the door. Two employees who wanted to prevent the sometimes-laughing person from entering continued to hold the door. The employees, who waited a while longer with sticks in their hands to protect themselves, reported the situation to the police.
THOSE MOMENTS ON CAMERA: NO ONE IS HELPING
Upon the report, police teams were dispatched to the scene, and what happened was recorded with a mobile phone camera. In the footage, the female pastry shop employee was seen saying, 'Look, we are standing here with a stick right now. A man like this. He is forcing the door; we are trapped and cannot open the door. He looks like this and will not leave the door. No one is helping either.'
Meanwhile, the suspect, who was saying incomprehensible words, continued to wait in front of the door, sometimes laughing. The moments when the waiting person sometimes kicked the pastry shop door are also included in the footage. In the camera footage, the other female pastry shop employee can also be heard saying, 'It is 19:30. This man has been here since 05:00 in the morning.'
