The "nursery" discussions between the AK Party and CHP have flared up. CHP leader Özel claimed that the nurseries opened by municipalities would be closed, while the government side stated that this was not true.
"NURSERY" DISPUTE BETWEEN CHP AND AK PARTY
Responding to Özel's statements on social media, AK Party Bursa Deputy Mustafa Varank said, "You are a party leader who doesn't even know the difference between a nursery and a kindergarten. I don't know if you can comprehend this, but let me write it down one by one; our Minister of National Education stated that there is no expression regarding nurseries in the letter sent. Moreover, nurseries are not even within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of National Education."
VARANK FROM AK PARTY: WHICH PRINCIPLE OF THE SIX ARROWS ALLOWS LYING?
Varank said: "In 2007, the CHP had the authority of municipalities to open kindergartens annulled by the Constitutional Court. Due to the article you had annulled, the Ministry of National Education has not granted any municipality a kindergarten license since 2007. What ideological obsession is behind your desire to open kindergartens under different names and evade the Ministry of National Education's oversight? To openly lie that 'they told CHP municipalities to close nurseries' regarding a letter sent to all municipalities without distinction that does not contain any expression about closing nurseries, which principle of the six arrows does that align with? Or is it a new arrow you will paint purple?"
CHP'S BAŞARIR: THIS IS THE TWEET, YOU IDIOT
Quoting Varank's statement, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır used very harsh expressions in his statement where he shared the documents. Başarır said, "This is the tweet, you idiot."
VARANK: HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO SPELL IDIOT
Varank's response to Başarır was equally harsh. Varank used the following expressions: "It is certainly futile to expect a team that publishes foot X-rays and acts tough in the corridors to have a minimum level of Turkish reading and comprehension skills. For this foul-mouthed, comprehension-impaired individual who thinks he can achieve results by insulting, let me write it again: There is no situation regarding nurseries. Nurseries or kindergartens cannot be operated under any name. A license from the Ministry of National Education is required to open a kindergarten.
Municipalities cannot obtain a license because the CHP annulled the relevant article and imposed a ban. Note: He is so illiterate in Turkish that he doesn't even know how to spell 'idiot.'
