While the bloody-handed instigators are gifted normal lives, I and my two daughters have been deemed worthy of living under a lifelong death threat." she said.

Addressing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in her post, Ayşe Ateş said, "Mr. President, the two armed guards you assigned to me no longer have any meaning. Those who murdered Sinan Ateş just a kilometer away from your office will not hesitate to do anything to Ayşe Ateş and her two daughters with the courage they have gained from this point on. Even if you give us an army, you cannot stop them. I and my daughters seek refuge first in Almighty Allah, and then in the conscience, compassion, and goodness of our esteemed nation." she expressed.
