The list of food adulteration shared with the public by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has been updated. Four companies from Istanbul are also included in the list. The fraud in minced meat, sausage, cut meat, olive oil, lamb meat, and thyme has been brought to the attention of the public.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has added new items to the list while playing with the health of citizens, including the use of meat from single-hoofed animals such as horse, donkey, or pig in cooked meat döner, and the addition of pharmaceutical active ingredients in sugar and chocolate.

LAMB MEAT, OLIVE OIL, THYME

The latest list of "Imitation or Adulterated Foods" and "Foods That Will Endanger Health" prepared by the Ministry includes fraud related to lamb meat, sausage, minced meat, cut meat, olive oil, and thyme.

In the "Foods That Will Endanger Health" list published on November 18, single-hoofed meat was found in the cut meats used by two companies from Adana, and pharmaceutical active ingredients were detected in the products of companies based in Istanbul.
