The Ministry of Justice suspended three officials, but Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç denied it. Then why did he suspend the officials? We asked the Interior Minister, and they are inclined to cover up the incident. Journalists who organized a protest for the murdered journalists faced the same fate. They were subjected to an unashamed strip search cruelty. This strip search is not done all the time. Why is it done? It is said, 'If you oppose my government, you will be treated specially.' They do this in Palestine as well. They do this in the Kurdish issue too. We bring up the issue of strip searches repeatedly; we are ashamed, but you are not ashamed.

"TOMORROW YOU MAY FALL INTO OPPOSITION, YOU TOO MAY BE SUBJECTED TO A STRIP SEARCH"

Mr. Özlem Zengin has opposed me many times, and she knows very well that strip searches have existed in this country for years. History has denied her, and justified me. I tell the AK Party deputies, tomorrow you may fall into opposition, and you too may be subjected to a strip search. At that time, I will oppose your victimization by saying, 'yesterday they were silent.' Understand the importance of human rights."

"EVERY WORD I SAY IS TRUE THEN AND NOW"

AK Party Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin, in response to these words, said, "If possible, I will file a complaint regarding 6284 against her because she always mentions my name in every speech she makes at the podium. While I say there are no strip searches, an incident occurred years ago in 2019 in Uşak. In this incident, there was a new FETÖ structure. The claim of this FETÖ structure was that young women who were arrested were completely stripped, and there is currently a discussion about the removal of something called a full search that is not in accordance with the regulations. Those women were never searched without anything on them. I said at that time, 'a dignified person would not wait a year for such a search.' Every word I say is true then and now," she stated.

"A PERSON WHO INSULTS OTHERS WHEN INJUSTICE IS EXPOSED"

Gergerlioğlu said, "Özlem Zengin used the word 'perverse' against me. A person who insults others when injustice is exposed. The women in Uşak were acquitted. Even if guilty, no one should be subjected to a strip search. Right now, strip searches are being conducted in the Palestinian issue and against Kurds as well. I am right; I have paid the price for this by staying in prison and losing my parliamentary position," he said.

Zengin said, "This gentleman has absolutely no legal competence. Every time he comes to this podium, saying Özlem Zengin is a perverse attitude, a compulsive attitude. You can take any legal action you want," she stated. DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Sezai Temelli said, "Do not personalize everything. Respond to criticism, but you are insulting.
