After the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad, the Israeli army entered Syrian territory for the first time in 51 years. While occupying the buffer zone in the Golan Heights and continuing its advance, a claim emerged that caused a significant stir. It was alleged that an Israeli army helicopter landed at a military facility in Damascus, and that the soldiers who were below for 20 minutes left the area and moved towards southern Syria.

The armed opposition groups led by HTŞ overthrew the 61-year-old Ba'ath regime in Syria with an operation they launched on Wednesday, November 27, while Israel's attempts to occupy the region continue.
