İnjured İn E. Jerusalem Attack By Palestinian Driver

At least five Israelis were injured on Friday after a suspected Palestinian man drove a vehicle into a crowd of Israelis in East Jerusalem, Israeli media has reported.



"Initial reports said that a man – possibly a Palestinian – rammed his car into a group of Israelis waiting for [East] Jerusalem's Light Rail train," Israel's daily Yediot Ahronot reported on Friday.



"Paramedics have reportedly administered first aid to at least five people."



Israeli military spokesman Peter Lerner confirmed the attack, saying five people were injured.



The past few months saw an uptick in violence in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories that left several deaths and injuries on both sides.
