Instagram is introducing a "algorithm reset" feature for the Explore page.

Instagram users will soon be able to manually reset the recommendation algorithm that determines what they see in their feeds. Meta stated that this change is designed to ensure that younger users see more relevant content.

WILL RENEW THE ENTIRE FEED

Instagram indicated that users can clean up the recommended content on their explore, reels, and feed pages in just a few steps. After entering reset mode, users will be presented with a complete list of all followed accounts, allowing them to unfollow as they wish.

WILL BE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE

Instagram also announced that recommendations will gradually start to be personalized again and will show new content based on the content and accounts users interact with. Although the reset feature is designed for younger users, it will be available to everyone. The feature will be rolled out globally soon.
