Interim President of Venezuela Rodriguez sends message to Türkiye

Venezuela's Interim President Delcy Rodriguez, who met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul, said Turkey is a strategically important partner for her country. Rodriguez stated they aim to develop cooperation in energy, mining, transportation, technology, and industry, while emphasizing that Turkish Airlines' Caracas-Istanbul flights have strengthened relations between the two countries. Rodriguez also thanked Erdogan for the invitation and hospitality.

Venezuela's Interim President Delcy Rodriguez made a striking post after her meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at Dolmabahce Palace.

In a video published on Miraflores Palace's social media accounts, Rodriguez featured images from Dolmabahce Palace and her meeting with Erdogan.

Speaking in the video, Rodriguez stated that relations between Turkey and Venezuela have developed steadily in recent years, adding that they aim to take the cooperation between the two countries to a higher level.

Rodriguez said, "We are at Dolmabahce Palace to meet with President Erdogan. We aim to further advance our cooperation agenda. Turkey and Venezuela are developing their commercial and economic relations in many areas, especially mining, energy, transportation, and air connections."

EMPHASIS ON TURKISH AIRLINES

Noting that Turkish Airlines' Caracas-Istanbul flights have significantly contributed to relations between the two countries, Rodriguez expressed their desire to establish new partnerships in technology, industry, science, and energy.

Rodriguez said they are working to create international collaborations that will enhance the welfare of the Venezuelan people, and stated that they aim to further strengthen economic relations.

ENERGY AND MINING IN THE FOREGROUND

The meeting between Erdogan and Rodriguez addressed increasing cooperation in energy, mining, and trade. It was noted that the parties evaluated steps to boost the bilateral trade volume.

Rodriguez, emphasizing that Venezuela has great potential in the energy sector, said they want to utilize the country's natural resources more effectively and increase economic diversity.
