The statement procedures for the girl named E.N.B will be conducted by the Public Prosecutor with the assistance of a psychologist.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made the following statement on social media regarding the video in question: "Our Cyber Crime Department has examined the footage shared in a video claiming that a girl was threatened through a social media 'Program.' The examination revealed that the video is fabricated. Our teams from the İzmir Police Department have placed the child named E.N.B. under protection at her address. The statement procedures will be conducted by the Public Prosecutor with the assistance of a psychologist.

THE 18-YEAR-OLD INDIVIDUAL WHO PUBLISHED THE FOOTAGE IS IN CUSTODY

The so-called footage in which the child named E.N.B. claimed to have been "subjected to threats and blackmail" was published by an 18-year-old individual named T.D., who has been taken into custody by our teams from the Ankara Police Department for "misleading the public through internet broadcasts and disinformation."
