In the Buca district of Izmir, a dance performance by elementary school students during the celebration of October 29 Republic Day, featuring an English song with obscene lyrics, received a strong backlash on social media. The Izmir Provincial Directorate of National Education has initiated an investigation into the matter.

The English song used in the dance performance of the 2nd-grade students of Vali Rahmi Bey Primary School in the Buca district of İzmir has drawn reactions.

In a statement made by the Provincial Directorate of National Education, it was noted that there were reports on social media and news sites regarding inappropriate lyrics in the song used in the dance performance.

INVESTIGATION INTO SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS

It was reported that an investigation has been initiated regarding the school administrators, the ceremony committee, and teacher C.A.

Some of the lyrics in the song are as follows;
