Investigation into the woman who opened an account in her son's name and sold inappropriate images.

Investigation into the woman who opened an account in her son's name and sold inappropriate images.

11.11.2024 11:40

An investigation has been initiated by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services regarding N.K., a mother who divorced S.A. eight months after marrying him three years ago in Bursa. She has been selling inappropriate videos of herself on a social media channel opened in the name of her son, U.L.A., for a subscription fee of 5,000 lira to those who wish to watch them.

S.A. (27) and N.K. (23), who live in the Nilüfer district, got married in 2021 out of love. The couple had a baby boy after 8 months of marriage. After a while, the couple, who experienced severe incompatibility, divorced, and the custody of their son U.L.A. (2) was granted to his mother N.K. After the divorce case, while S.A. stayed in Bursa, N.K. moved to Istanbul with her now 2-year-old son. After a while, N.K. allegedly opened a channel on social media in the name of her son U.L.A., uploaded inappropriate videos she had taken, and started selling them to those who wanted to watch for a subscription fee of approximately 5,000 lira.

"I FILED A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT"

S.A. stated that his ex-wife shared recordings of her breastfeeding their child on the channel and said he filed a criminal complaint. Stating that he wanted to obtain custody of his son, S.A. said, "My ex-wife is sharing sexual content on a platform named after my son. His name is not mentioned here at all. I filed a criminal complaint regarding this issue. When I entered the site named after my son, I witnessed that N.K. shared sexual content videos. She is asking for a subscription fee of about 5,000 lira from those who want to join the site. She is making perverted shares. Despite earning nearly 300,000 lira, she still receives alimony from me. I want the custody of my son to be taken from her and given to me," he said.

S.A. expressed that his son might suffer psychologically in the future by watching these videos, saying, "If our child grows up and asks me, 'Why did you allow those videos?' how will I respond? The biggest problem here is that my son appears in this content. I do not want these videos and my son's name to be mentioned and shared anywhere," he said.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

N.K., who was reached by phone by DHA reporters, defended herself by stating that she earns her living from this work, saying, "I spend most of my income on my son." An investigation was initiated against N.K. by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services under the 'Child Protection Law No. 5395.'

HAS COMPLAINED BEFORE

Following DHA's news, it was noted that a meeting was held with S.A. on November 9, and upon the father's complaint in May, a social investigation was requested from the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services since the mother and child lived in Istanbul, and it was recorded that a Consultancy Measure Decision was made at the end of the investigation, emphasizing that another investigation request would be made.
