According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, FIFA has approved the request to move the national team's camp from the USA to Mexico. The camp will be held in Tijuana, located on the Pacific Ocean coast and on the border between Mexico and the USA.

Iran Football Federation President Mehdi Taj stated regarding the move of the Iran national team's camp from the USA to Mexico, "The camps of the teams participating in the World Cup need to be approved by FIFA, and thank God, considering the requests we received, as well as meetings with FIFA officials and World Cup organizers in Istanbul, and the webinar we had yesterday with the FIFA Secretary General, the request to move the camp from the USA to Mexico has been approved."
