Iranian Police Clash With Criminal Group Members

Iranian police clashed with a group of persons attempting to disturb public order in the Iranian city of Nishapur last night, afkarnews website reported.



A clash arose between two criminal groups. Public order forces and police were involved in dealing with the situation. As a result of the incident, several people were injured, several cars were burned and windows of nearby houses were shattered.



The police detained 12 people. An investigation is underway into the incident.
