Ankara Metropolitan Municipality issued a statement regarding claims that Mansur Yavaş will join the AK Party. In the statement, it was said: “We once again inform the public that these claims do not reflect the truth. Mr. Mansur Yavaş’s stance on this issue is extremely clear. As he has previously stated, preserving our citizens’ trust in politics and politicians is possible, above all, through respect shown for the will of the voters.”

In the statement, it was stated that although these claims had been denied many times before, they continued to be brought to the agenda.
