As the echoes of Israel's assassination of Hamas leader Haniyeh continue, news of another attack has emerged. The Israeli army targeted Lebanon and struck a moving vehicle. Samir al-Haj, a Hamas Movement official who was in the vehicle, lost his life at the scene.

The attack by Israeli aircraft on a vehicle in the southern city of Sidon in Lebanon resulted in the death of Hamas official Samir al-Hajj and the injury of two civilians, according to reports.

According to the official Lebanese news agency NNA, the Israeli army targeted a vehicle in the Hasbaya intersection near the Ayn al-Hilweh refugee camp in Sidon. The vehicle was hit by 2 missiles.

Haniyeh, who was 62 years old at the time of his death, had gone to Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi.
