Israel struck Hezbollah targets in Syria.

In a statement made by the Syrian Ministry of Defense, it was reported that Israel conducted an airstrike on civilian areas south of Damascus from the direction of the Golan Heights, which is under Israeli occupation. The statement did not provide information on the number of dead and injured. Reports in the Syrian press indicated that the Sayeda Zeinab area was targeted in the attack.

The Syrian regime's agency SANA announced that at 18:05 local time, Israel targeted several points in southern Damascus with an airstrike. The report stated, "Our air defense systems intercepted most of the missiles coming from the enemy Golan Heights. Material damage occurred in the attack."

ISRAELI ARMY CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ATTACK

In a statement from the Israeli army, it was claimed that Israeli fighter jets targeted intelligence headquarters belonging to Hezbollah in Syria. The statement suggested that the targets hit by Israeli fighter jets were units responsible for Hezbollah's intelligence gathering and assessments.
