Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in a statement following the attacks he launched on the Gaza Strip, "From now on, negotiations will only be conducted under fire."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made statements following Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip after breaking the ceasefire. Netanyahu said that Israel has returned to an intense struggle against Hamas, and that intelligence services and the Israeli army recommended this course of action.
"NEGOTIATIONS WILL ONLY BE CONDUCTED UNDER FIRE"
Claiming that Hamas has rejected all proposals for the release of more hostages, Netanyahu announced that military operations have resumed for this reason. Stating that Israel will now conduct operations against Hamas with increasing force, Netanyahu said, "From now on, negotiations will only be conducted under fire. This is just the beginning."
OVER 400 GAZANS HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES
The Israeli army resumed its violent attacks following the ceasefire that came into effect on January 19 in the Gaza Strip. In airstrikes carried out on the morning of March 18 in the Gaza Strip, at least 400 people, mostly women and children, lost their lives, and over 500 Palestinians were injured.
HAMAS: ISRAEL DID NOT KEEP ITS PROMISES
On the other hand, a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office expressed that the attacks were initiated under the instructions of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz. Israel, which broke the ceasefire, announced that it would act with "increasing military force" against Hamas. Hamas stated that "Israel has not kept its promises and has resumed its genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip by failing to fulfill its responsibilities in front of the eyes of the mediating countries."
"A COMPLETE DECEPTION"
Families of Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip accused the Netanyahu government, which broke the ceasefire, of "abandoning the captives," stating that the government's justification for restarting the war to bring back the captives is "a complete deception." Opposition parties in Israel also pointed out that the attacks have resumed in the shadow of controversial political moves, such as Prime Minister Netanyahu's dismissal of the head of the internal intelligence agency Shin Bet.
ERDOĞAN'S REACTION
President Erdoğan reacted to Israel's attacks. Erdoğan stated, "Israel's attacks are unacceptable. The genocide policy in Gaza must be stopped."
