Tensions between Israel and the United Nations have escalated once again. Israeli tanks launched an assault on the UN Interim Force in Lebanon with tanks. In the attack, 15 peacekeeping soldiers were injured. In a video message, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu called for the UNIFIL forces to withdraw from southern Lebanon, urging UN Secretary-General Guterres, "This needs to be done right now."

The occupying state Israel's tanks launched an attack on the UN base. Following the attack, a statement from the UN Peacekeeping Force indicated that an explanation was requested from Israel. It was reported that the main gates were destroyed in Israel's attack and 15 peacekeeping soldiers were injured.
