The Israeli Army violated the ceasefire agreement it signed with Hezbollah on the second day. According to information provided to Reuters by Lebanese security sources, 24 hours after the ceasefire, which prohibits military operations, an Israeli tank fired two shells at the town of Markaba in southern Lebanon. TWO PEOPLE INJUREDSecurity sources reported that two people were injured. The Lebanese state news agency also stated that two people were injured and taken to the hospital following the Israeli attack on the town; however, it did not specify the type of attack. CEASEFIRE AGREEMENTThe ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah was signed a few days ago under the mediation of the United States and France to end mutual attacks and conflicts between Israel and Lebanon. In a statement following the ceasefire, Hezbollah indicated that its members would closely monitor Israel's withdrawal from the south with their hands on the trigger and that they were fully prepared to counter any attack from Israel.
